The process of hiring professionals in the IT sector has always been a bit of a pickle. The process can be made a lot simpler, easier and quicker with the touch of technology. With the developments in the field of automation and robotics implementing bots and writing down codes to assist the HRs for screening and evaluating interested candidates for a job position, is not something very far fetched. The several rounds included in the process of hiring is indeed a hectic and troublesome job, so the assistance of technology smoothens the process up nicely. The rounds are conducted quicker, the results are more efficient, the human effort and the cost all are considerably reduced, which is a win-win situation and kind of the x-factor required by the big guns in the IT sector competing in a cut throat market, to get the winning edge.

The first round generally is going through the CVs and the fancy resumes of the candidates. Now going through them and validating them takes time for a human personnel to do. But the process of cross checking those qualifications with the required skill set for the job is very faster when done with the help of a database and autonomous filter. The second round is listing the ones that qualified the first round, and setting up a round of aptitude to filter more. Now the process of evaluation of the aptitude and checking can be again made easier with the application of some generic program, which shuffles question sets it collects from the web, thus again cutting down on the work of finding and assembling problems to test out the applicants. Then comes the final rounds of interview, where the HR can pinpoint the spots, what are the strongholds of the applicants and what he lacks. While he sits on the chair opposing the HR, with one click the entire detailed evaluation stored in the database pops up making it easier and the interview being more fruitful.

Thus we see, with the help of automation and robotics, hiring of employees is becoming a slice of cake for the companies. Many companies are working on it and some minor implementations are put out to test and the results have been extraordinary. Thus the prospects of working and seeing the end of this is matter of huge curiosity to the IT sector. The wave of development is soon going to hit India in the coming decade, so look out for it and try to mould yourself to blend in the future society.
